The issue

I created a new AWS account and ran a test with Lambda, but encountered an error due to low quota values.

When I checked the other AWS accounts I own, I found that the Lambda quotas were set to higher values.

Could you please explain why the Lambda quotas in the new AWS account are lower compared to those in the other AWS accounts?

The solution

In a new AWS account, the concurrency and memory quotas are lower.

AWS official documentation

New AWS accounts have reduced concurrency and memory quotas. AWS raises these quotas automatically based on your usage.

When using Lambda with a new AWS account, please refer to the above documentation as needed to request an increase in quotas and then proceed with your testing.
